This is always a “tricky one” as a lot of people foolishly come into forex believing that they can get rich quick.
They think that they can put $1000 in an account, double their money in days and they will be able to quit their job in a few months time.
If you are one of those people, leave now. The painful truth is it’s not going to happen!
You need realistic expectations. You need to think of this as a profession that takes time, effort and skill to master.
However the great news is that in recent years you can, for a reasonably small outlay, buy a funded account that pays a significant profit share.

When I joined FMP, I started from scratch. I saw this as a fresh start and the last chance saloon. Everything is covered and it all fits together in the strategies the mentors use. The mentors are great people, real experts who love their charts and sharing their skills. For me, I find the weekly analyses really important part of my weekly routine. I tend to look at the charts on a Saturday morning (before football practice) so when I come to the mentors' analyses, I get the expert take on the charts - it's lovely to have confirmation of your trade idea but just as important when they explain why they are avoiding a particular pair and what they are waiting to see.
The FMP forum is also massively helpful - mentors and members share their trade ideas and, importantly, their management of open trades, which is something that is really hard psychologically, so seeing how the professionals do it with skill and consistency is invaluable. You've also got that community there and that can't be underestimated - you've got your people in your corner!
